Located on the triple border between Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana, Mount Roraima is a mountain in South America. Considered one of the highest points in the country at 2,810 meters above sea level with large walls, waterfalls and lakes.
The easiest access to Mount Roraima is from the Venezuelan side which has what is called La Rampa, not requiring the use of vertical techniques, but just a lot of willingness to walk 3 days to reach the top and another 2 days to return.
Planning to climb Mount Roraima is essential. It is necessary to prepare in several aspects, ranging from physical conditioning to choosing trekking equipment, such as waterproof clothing and sleeping bags.
As there are no hotels, inns or any accommodation structures up there. The best option is to find a more protected location and install tents.
The best time to visit is the least rainy season which is from October to March (there is no dry period up there).
