Barra de Camaratuba is a beach located in the municipality of Mataraca, 110 km from the capital João Pessoa; It’s also the last beach on the north coast of Paraíba, dividing it with the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
Privileged for its natural exuberance, it has a huge mangrove area, where it is possible to take ecological tours and visit the indigenous villages of the Potiguaras Indians with their rich culture.
The beach completes its beauty with the Mataraca River, where tourists are transported by boat to Baía da Traição beach, a brief trip to contemplate the beautiful landscapes.
The Caranguejo-Uçá Ecological Park is yet another attraction that embraces visitors to Camaratuba. The space is an area of important environmental value that takes care of the region's nature. There, it's possible to take walks through the mangroves, river and sea.
